LIDO Examples
LIDO v1.1 XML snippets in the LIDO Primer:
Throughout the LIDO Primer, the painting Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci serves as an example of an object description in LIDO Version 1.1. XML snippets are provided to show the usage of LIDO elements, attributes, and recommended terminology.

LIDO v1.1 example records:
The following two example records were provided by the German Documentation Centre for Art History – Image Archive Foto Marburg (Deutsches Dokumentationszentrum für Kunstgeschichte – Bildarchiv Foto Marburg).
The examples are based on version 1.0 of the LIDO XML Schema and have been adapted to illustrate some of the features added in LIDO v1.1.
