ICOM Documentation regularly issued an annual newsletter until 2000, when the costs of printing and distribution became too high for the group to support. After a period of reflection, we re-started producing a newsletter in 2006. Recent newsletters are available both in printed form and as a PDF file.
In the future, we intend to continue the production of a regular newsletter, but to keep costs down we plan to distribute it to members by electronic means wherever possible. Printed copies are available on request while stocks last.

Here are the ICOM Documentation (former CIDOC) Newsletters published since 1989. Some issues are accessible online in PDF or HTML format. We are working to scan all the older issues and make them available online.

On the other hand, since March 2024, our committee has made a significant effort to more effectively communicate the activities of the Board, as well as those of its Working Groups and Task Forces. This work responds to the emphasis placed on communication during the 2023-2025 period, as established in the committee’s strategy, and it stood as a priority line of action for the 2026-2028 Board, which will ensure its continuity.

The monthly newsletter was created with the aim of strengthening this communication, which is shared exclusively in English. Through it, our members and extended community can stay informed about:
